In 2016, Alessandra Torresani had a six-episode arc on The Big Bang Theory, in which she portrayed Claire, an aspiring screenwriter who is working as a bartender. She is a writer for kids’ sci-fi series and the crew meet her while they’re at a comic book shop. Claire is looking to work with Raj on the science aspects of the script.

In addition to her acting work, she also hosts a podcast called EmotionAL Support with Alessandra Torresani, which focuses on mental health. Torresani has openly discussed living with bipolar disorder.
