Dion’s childhood, even pre-stardom, must have been hectic- she is the youngest of 14 children and had to sleep in a cabinet drawer when she was a baby, as her family did not have enough beds for her as well as all of her siblings. Dion was born and raised in Charlemagne, Quebec, which is a suburb of Quebec roughly 30 miles outside of the main metropolitan area. Dion was born into a musical household- she was named after the Hugues Aufray song, Céline.
