This might seem surprising, but antique cookie jars could earn you some serious dough, no pun intended. PBS’s Antiques Roadshow evaluator Reyne Hirsch can vouch for that. According to her, a vintage cookie jar in the shape of a famous cartoon character could earn you thousands of dollars. In August 2019, a Little Audrey jar was purchased on eBay for $3400…not too shabby!

Vintage Perfume Bottles

In the early 1900s, perfume bottles were made quite elegantly. Nowadays, these antique bottles can sell for thousands of dollars. Some of these bottles have been sold for up to $8500! Antique Roadshow evaluator Eric Silver shared that these go for a lot of money at in-person auctions as well.

According to lunch box collector Thad Reece, vintage lunch boxes can sell for up to ten thousand their original cost was! The most valuable are a 1963 The Jetsons lunch box at $1650, a 1962 Dudley Do-Right lunch box sold for $2200, and a 1954 Superman lunch box sold for $13,000!
