There are some concepts that are easier than others to teach, so Devine had to get creative. When teaching Bunny the concept of “outside,” Alexis said she would push the button that said “outside” and then repeated the word until she let Bunny out.

Devine shared: “If I understand precisely well how to model those words, it would be simpler for her to understand them, but it’s kind of putting puzzle pieces together, and without having experience in anything really similar to all of this, I’m kind of just making it all up as I go.”
