You could be forgiven for getting this father-son duo confused. Ziggy looks just like his father. Like his more well-known father, Ziggy is a musician and is the lead for the band Ziggy Marley and the Melody Makers. We have to admit; the Marley name still carries weight in the music industry. Sadly, this picture of Bob Marley was taken only a year before his untimely death at the hands of melanoma.

Bob Marley’s Last Words
Bob Marley was determined that the show must go on. After discovering that he had melanoma in his toe, he refused the advice of his doctors to have the toe amputated. He was concerned that it would hinder his ability to perform, and he cited religious reasons for refusing the amputation. After a series of other attempted treatments, cancer had spread to his lungs and brain. He died at a hospital in Florida while trying to get back to his home in Jamaica from Germany. His last words were to Ziggy, “Money can’t buy life.”
