Gary LeVox’s band Rascal Flatts had a substantial crossover hit with their song ‘Life is a Highway.’ He and his wife Tara married in 1999, and Gary has said that he knew from the moment he met her that he was destined to be with Tara. He was clearly right, as the couple have been together for two decades now! Some people are lucky enough to have a great gut feeling about someone, and it turns out to be almost prophetic.

Chely Wright and Lauren Blitzer
It is not very common amongst country musicians in generally to be openly gay. Chely Wright was aware of this, and so she concealed her sexuality for much of her professional career. She even had a relationship with the musician Brad Paisley, but she has since said that she did not truly have feelings for him. Eventually, she felt that the time was right and she came out as a lesbian. Wright is now married to Lauren Blitzer, who is an LGBT activist. The couple have twins together.
