Prospects at NASA
Alyssa has already made it clear that she plans to apply for NASA when she turns 18. She doesn’t have her eyes set on some boring desk job, though. No, Alyssa plans to apply for the NASA Astronaut program. The program is known to be extremely rigorous and difficult to get into. If accepted, she would be able to study aboard the International Space Station. While that may seem like enough for most people, her plans do not stop there.

Interplanetary Goals
Alyssa does not plan to stop at the ISS. Her goal is to be the first person to walk on Mars. That may seem like a lofty goal, but she has already made great strides in seeing her goal through. She may just have what it takes to beat the competition and be the first human to walk on Mars.
